Greetings, Los Angeles Blues Society Members
The Los Angeles Blues Society will be
holding its Annual Meeting and Elections on August 1, 2010 from 2:00pm-4:30PM
at 1705 Maxson Road in South El Monte, CA 91733. The positions
of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer as well as all
positions on the Board of Directors will be filled by member vote.
All members, in good standing, are invited
to attend this important election and are also eligible for nominations
to any and all open positions.
Nominations for office or for a seat
on the Board of Directors must be submitted to LABS by email or postal
mail no later than 6:00pm on June 30, 2010. Please include your
name, address and phone number along with the position to which you
wish to be nominated.
All nominations will be placed on a
ballot that will be made available to all members who attend the elections
in South El Monte, CA on August 1, 2010.
Each member in attendance on August
1, 2010 will be able to place one vote for each open position.
Votes will be counted by the LABS secretary
at 4:00pm on August 1, 2010 and all officers and board members will
be elected by a simple majority and will serve a one year term.
